As promised, here are 2 beautiful swatches of Lauren B. Beauty polishes! I had a great time trying these colors out. As always, Lauren B. Beauty is 5-free and contains NO formaldehyde, DBP, toluene, formaldehyde resin or camphor.
First up, I used “Downtown Skyline“, an amazing deep blue/grey color, with a little bit of silver shimmer.
Next was ‘My Private Cabana‘, a gorgeous minty green that is perfect for spring!
‘My Private Cabana’
These polishes never fail to disappoint and always go on so smoothly and beautifully. They’re very chip-resistant, which is an absolute must for my busy hands-on lifestyle. Head on over to Lauren B. Beauty and see all of the amazing nail couture and treatments they have to offer!
Simple look today for MANI MONDAY! I used ‘Seduce Me‘ by China Glaze, which sadly the photos don’t show the true color of it 😦 It isn’t as red as it looks, but it’s actually more on the berry side! Still a pretty shade, though. My accent finger is ‘Where’s My Oscar?‘ by Lauren B. Beauty!

Today’s MANI MONDAY is a more Valentine’s Day-inspired mani using light pink and hot pink polishes from WETPAINT NAILS. I created an abstract mani using plastic wrap (cut into 10 pieces – one for each nail!)! Very easy to do and the color combinations to use are endless! All you need is 2 polishes (a base and one to go over that) and some plastic wrap. I used ‘Officially A Girl’ for my base, and ‘Girl Boss’ for the top color. First, paint your base polish. Once dry, paint a layer of your second polish. While that is still wet, take a crumpled piece of plastic wrap and gently push down quickly then release. Repeat for all ten nails and once dry, finish with top coat. It was a little messy, so I simply cleaned up around the nails with nail polish remover.
What do you think? This was my first time trying out the plastic wrap mani. I’m pretty pleased with how easy it is to do!
Today’s MANI MONDAY is a simple Christmas themed manicure. For my base, I used two coats of the classically beautiful Wet Paint Nails ‘Crimson & Clover‘.
Next, I painted the green tips with Finger Paints ‘Sketch N Etch‘, which is the perfect shade of green for the holidays! Lastly, I drew a fine gold glitter line underneath the green polish to complete the Christmas-y look. As always, the mani is topped with a coat of topcoat and ready to go! This was a fun, yet simple, creation that anyone can achieve and it doesn’t take much time to do. So if you’re pressed for time during this busy season and still want your nails to look gorgeous, try this easy manicure for a polished look.
Okay! First and foremost, I want to apologize for the belated MANI MONDAY!
Today’s mani is an updated, glitzy twist on a French manicure, using ULTA’s “Concrete Evidence”, with China Glaze’s “Pizzazz” for the tips! You can use any variation of colors you choose. The possibilities are endless and will look fab regardless!
1. As always, start with your base coat.
2. Apply 1-2 coats of ULTA’s “Concrete Evidence”
3. Once dry, apply China Glaze’s “Pizzazz” for your tips, gradually using more polish as you get to the end of the nail for a gradient finish.
4. When completely dry, finish with your top coat!
Today’s MANI MONDAY nails are simple and classy, and even the beginner nail artist can replicate this style. I’ve borrowed the idea from Sally Beauty Blog, and changed the accenting color from black to a nice, gold sparkle. All you need is a base/top coat, a neutral polish (I used OPI “San Tan-Tonio”), and a contrasting polish for the upper diagonal (I used Sinful Colors “All About You”). Have fun with your color combinations and see where it takes you!
1. Start with your base coat polish.
2. Next, apply 1-2 coats of your neutral polish.
3. Draw a diagonal line with your contrasting color. (My diagonals are harder to see because I used a glitter polish.) *If it’s easier for you, you can use a nail detailing brush or nail pen*
4. Fill in the top half.
5. Once dry, apply your top coat.
Let me know if you try this and what personal twist you give to it!
