Just a Reminder!

makeupetcJust a friendly reminder to switch over to Makeup Etc. 🙂 Follow me there for my latest posts, as I will be deleting Lashes and Lacquer in the near future! Thanks everyone!

It’s here!

So my latest blog is up and running! You can find it at Makeup Etc.. I hope you’ll join me on my latest journey and tell your friends, too! It’s still in its beginning stage, so I don’t have a lot of content on it, yet, but I will be writing this week and sharing for you all to see. I am so happy to be starting not only 1, but 2, new phases in my life – Makeup Etc., and representing AVON. 2016 is shaping up nicely! I’d like to make the transition to Makeup Etc. as smoothly as possible, so follow me over there and see what new things I have in store for you. It will still include all of what you’ve come to love here at Lashes and Lacquer – skincare, makeup, nails, DIY, and product reviews. Makeup Etc. will have more of what you love.

Thank you, my lovely Lashes and Lacquer fans!

Good morning, lovies! You will never know how much I appreciate all of you following Lashes and Lacquer and reading about the products I’ve been trying and love. During my recent hiatus, I’ve started selling AVON (youravon.com/kyordy) and absolutely love it. But what I really want to share with you is that I am creating a new beauty blog for all of you to enjoy and I hope you will follow me there onto the next chapter! I have yet to decide on a name for the new blog, but once I do, I will post an update on here so you can join me! Until then, you can always refer to my past posts, some of which will be included in the new venture. Here’s to the next chapter!

Well October flew by! I’m finally working on a Lashes and Lacquer Instagram page! You can go here if you’d like to follow, and I will follow back 🙂 I will keep adding to it today and hopefully get all of the pictures from the blog uploaded soon. I plan to have a new blog post today, so keep an eye out on here! How was your Halloween? I hope you had a great one and ate lots of candy and watched scary movies!

I did that, as well, and I finally signed up for Ipsy! I hear Urban Decay is in the Glambag this month, so I am super excited. I hesitated for several months and always ended up on the checkout page, until yesterday, I thought “What the heck, it’s only $10 a month.” The shipping is FREE and you can cancel anytime. Plus, the points you add up can be redeemed for products on their site. The discount for ipsy members to purchase single brand items or ipsy items is deeply discounted, so I’m definitely looking forward to that. Don’t wait like I did, join today! You can here. Let me know if you do! Remember, you can cancel anytime! Have a great Sunday!

If you’re like me, you use a lot of heat styling when it comes to doing your hair. I can’t live without my flat iron, and no matter how many conditioners and heat protecting sprays I use, my hair still gets dry and unmanageable. It doesn’t help either that my hair is naturally thick and curly/wavy, so I need all the help I can get!

Luckily, Beyond The Zone Shock Therapy is here to save my hair! It’s an overnight leave-in treatment that nourishes and repairs your hair while you sleep. From my experience with it, it does exactly as it says and it has a light mint tingling sensation. Upon washing it out in the morning, I did have shinier, softer hair. Its thick and creamy consistency was perfect compared to other treatments I’ve tried that were too thin and didn’t make any difference. I highly suggest trying this if you use heat styling, hair color, or your hair just needs a boost. This intensive treatment definitely lived up to its claims!

We’re having what’s supposed to be a nasty snow storm here in the Northeast, so I’m going to leave it on for a few hours during the day while I prep for Thanksgiving to help repair what this dry weather has been doing to my hair! You can find Beyond The Zone Shock Therapy at Sally Beauty.
